  3. God’s Grace is Sufficient – No situation is too far gone for God’s redemption and healing (2 Corinthians 12:9).

  4. We Are Not Alone – God provides a community of believers to uplift and support one another (Galatians 6:2).

7 Reasons to Say No to Suicide

  1. God Has a Purpose for Your Life – Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” No matter how dark things seem, God has a plan for your life that is filled with hope and purpose.

  2. You Are Deeply Loved by God – Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) reminds us that nothing can separate us from God’s love. “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love… neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”

  3. Your Pain is Temporary, But God’s Healing is Eternal – 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NLT) says, “For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” God’s power can bring healing, restoration, and peace beyond what you feel today.

  4. Suicide is Not the Answer—God is – Psalm 34:17-18 (NLT) says, “The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” When life feels overwhelming, turn to God instead of giving up.

  5. You Are Needed and Valued – 1 Corinthians 12:27 (NLT) says, “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.” You are important in God’s plan and in the lives of others. Your absence would leave a hole that no one else can fill.

  6. There is Hope and Help Available – Psalm 42:11 (NLT) reminds us, “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God!” You are not alone. Seek support from friends, family, church leaders, or professional counselors who can walk with you through this season.

  7. God Offers Strength to Keep Going – Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Even in your weakest moments, God is holding you and giving you the strength to keep moving forward.

If You Are Struggling

You are not alone. Reach out to someone you trust, pray, and seek help. There is hope beyond what you’re facing today, and God has an incredible future for you.
