Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20). It can be used to shield a person, family, friend, or ministry. It’s an act of faith, believing that God is protecting and providing for someone through the power of prayer.

  1. Protection from the Enemy:
    One of the primary purposes of a prayer shield is to protect individuals from the attacks of the enemy, whether it’s physical harm, emotional stress, or spiritual oppression. Psalm 91:4 says, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” This speaks to God’s ability to protect us with His covering, just as a shield guards a warrior in battle.

  2. Strength and Courage:
    A prayer shield also helps to strengthen and encourage individuals who are going through difficult times. May Your peace guard their heart, and may Your presence go with them. Keep them strong and focused on You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
