IMMORALITY

The Bible speaks strongly against immorality, emphasizing that it is a serious sin that affects our relationship with God and others. Throughout Scripture, immorality is depicted as contrary to God's design for our lives. God's heart is for His people to live pure and holy lives, honoring Him in all that they do. Immorality, which often refers to sexual sin, is viewed as defiling the body and spirit, and it is something that separates us from God's will and purposes for us.

In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Paul urges believers to flee from sexual immorality, recognizing that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. The passage underscores the importance of honoring God with our bodies, as they belong to Him and were bought at a high price—the precious blood of Jesus Christ. This highlights the call for purity and holiness in how we live and interact with others.

In Hebrews 13:4, marriage is honored as sacred, and sexual immorality is condemned. The Bible teaches that sex is a gift from God, intended for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.
