BE STRONG & COURAGEOUS

BE COURAGEOUS

Courage is not the absence of fear and the choice to move forward despite it. The Bible calls us to live boldly, trusting in God’s strength rather than our own. True courage comes from faith in God, obedience to His Word, and confidence in His promises.

Courage Comes from Trusting God

We can be courageous because God is with us. No matter the circumstances, He is our protector, guide, and source of strength.

📖 Joshua 1:9“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

📖 Psalm 56:3-4“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid.”

📖 Isaiah 41:10“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Trusting God gives us the courage to face challenges with confidence.

Courage to Stand for Truth

Being courageous means standing for God’s truth, even when it’s unpopular or difficult.

📖 1 Corinthians 16:13“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”

📖 Ephesians 6:13“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.”

📖 Acts 4:29“Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable Your servants to speak Your word with great boldness.”

Stand firm in God’s truth, no matter the opposition.

Courage in Difficult Situations

Life will bring trials and God calls us to face them with courage. He gives us the strength to endure and overcome.

📖 John 16:33“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

📖 2 Timothy 1:7“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”

📖 Romans 8:31“If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Courage means facing trials with faith, knowing God is in control.

Courage to Obey God’s Calling

God calls us to step out in faith and obey His plans, even when we feel unqualified or afraid.

📖 Exodus 4:12“Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

📖 Deuteronomy 31:6“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you.”

📖 Philippians 4:13“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

God gives us the courage to fulfill His purpose for our lives.

Courage Comes from the Holy Spirit

We do not have to rely on our own strength—the Holy Spirit empowers us to be bold.

📖 Acts 1:8“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses.”

📖 Micah 3:8“But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might.”

📖 2 Corinthians 3:12“Since we have such a hope, we are very bold.”

The Holy Spirit fills us with boldness and courage to fulfill God’s mission.
